I'm also confused about some of the comments saying in the manga Naho and Suwa ended up together and Kakeru was with someone else even in the parallel universe where he didnt die. They all drifted apart after Kakeru's death but now they're all anchoring each other after learning truth. Its sad that nothing changed in the original "future" world but they realized the importance of staying together and maintaining their friendship (also Suwa had a chance to be with Naho).
